Maroon 5’s Album “V”

And so reads the press release:

“MAROON 5 SIGN TO INTERSCOPE RECORDS

NEW ALBUM ‘V’ DUE ON SEPTEMBER 2, 2014

BAND SIGNS WORLDWIDE TOUR DEAL WITH LIVE NATION

May 19, 2014 (Santa Monica, CA)–Multi-platinum, 3-time GRAMMY-Award winning band Maroon 5 has signed to Interscope Records. The group¹s highly anticipated fifth studio album, titled V, will be released on September 2, 2014, which will be preceded by a new single that will be released this summer. In addition, the band has signed a worldwide tour deal with Live Nation with tour dates to be announced in the coming weeks.

Recorded in LA over the past year with producers Max Martin, Benny Blanco, Ryan Tedder, Shellback and Sam Martin, V reunites Maroon 5 with long-time keyboardist Jesse Carmichael who took a hiatus while the band recorded 2012’s Overexposed.”

I don’t care that they changed labels. I don’t care that Adam’s hair is blonde. I truly don’t care about anything except there will be a new single – and album – very soon. Which means that a tour will follow… that I will be at.

This is too wonderful for words. Oh, and original bandmember Jesse Carmichael is back which is also pretty damn cool.

Please, never stop making album’s Maroon 5. My heart will break.
